Najuana Parent; 63, sadly passed away on Sunday after a brave battle with cancer. Najuana was born in Wakefield, Rhode Island in 1957. Najuana was a hard worker and held many factory jobs throughout her life including Dome Publishing from 1996-2013. Just after that, she moved to Florida to spend some time with her sister, her nieces and nephew. She had recently moved back to Rhode Island in 2018 and loved working as a school bus monitor in Coventry.

Najuana was a beautiful soul who was everyone's friend and someone who was always willing to help out others. She loved her family and friends. She also enjoyed her scratch tickets, loved playing bingo and cards, listening to music, dancing and even singing karaoke! She had a contagious laugh and a great sense of humor. Anyone who was lucky enough to have met her will undoubtedly never ever forget her.

Najuana was the widow of the late David Johnson. She was the proud Mother to her son Robert M. Taylor and his wife Lilian Aldana of Cranston and her daughter Dianna L. Ortega and her husband; the late Jorge Luis Ortega of Coventry. She was the sweetest Grandma to Kaylin E. Taylor, Destiny Esperanza Ortega, Jorge Luis Ortega Jr., Kaitlyn Luisa Ortega, Ronald Aldana and Leandro Aldana. She is also survived by two older sisters and several nieces and nephews. At this time the family is not having any formal services.
